Interior and Furniture Design for new Retail concept for Italian Accessory Brand Furla
The concept draws inspiration from Furla’s Bologna headquarters, a beautifully restored 18th century villa where traditional craftsmanship fuses with contemporary art and design. Key architectural details, such as the distinctive architrave around the doors, were applied to create a retailing concept that reflects the heart of Furla's ‘simplicity and elegance’ in a fresh and contemporary way.
The materials palette includes polished brass, white glass, ivory leather, rosewood veneer and walnut travertine flooring.
The design concept was initially launched in 3 malls in Hong Kong and Mumbai; the brands flagship store in Milan followed with Paris and just recently the London store reopened its doors with the new look. In line with the company’s ambitious expansion plans into foreign markets, the design will be rolled out across Asia and the Middle East.
